Help and Support FAQ
T IoT Hub Services
There are three ways to log in to T IoT Hub:
- Using your Telekom Business customer account ( Help & Service for Telekom Business customers )
- Using your Telekom Login customer account ( More about Telekom Login )
- Using your existing T IoT Hub account
Connectivity management involves managing connections between devices, while device management entails maintaining and updating each device in the system.
Connectivity management and device management are important in IoT because they help ensure that the devices in an IoT system can communicate effectively with each other and with the broader network.
These two areas are critical for ensuring that an IoT system functions properly and can deliver the benefits it is designed to provide.
Mobile network operators frequently offer connectivity for IoT devices using their existing mobile networks. Connectivity management platforms provide the tools and services needed to manage and maintain these connections in a large-scale IoT network. They are an important part of any IoT system and can help ensure that the networked devices are able to communicate effectively and deliver the benefits they are designed to provide.
Connectivity management platforms offer SIM management functions that are designed to provide the tools and services needed to control and maintain a large number of SIM cards and IoT devices connected to a mobile network.
Deployment challenges
IoT projects can become complex due to the need to integrate and manage multiple different types of platforms from multiple vendors. These platforms may use different technologies and standards, which can make it challenging to ensure that they all work together seamlessly.
- For example, an IoT project may require the use of a connectivity management platform to provide network access and connectivity for all devices in the system, as well as a device management platform to manage and control them. These platforms may be provided by different vendors and may use different technologies and standards. This can make it difficult to ensure that they are able to work together effectively and can add complexity to the overall project.
- In addition, different IoT devices and sensors may use different communication protocols and standards, which can also add another layer of complexity. Ensuring that all of the different devices and sensors are able to communicate and share data effectively can require additional time and effort as well as the use of gateway devices or other technologies to bridge the different communication protocols and standards.
T IoT Hub is designed to help overcome many of the challenges that can arise when using these types of platforms. The T IoT Hub provides a range of tools and services that can help you manage your IoT devices and connectivity, including:
Orchestrating IoT connectivity, device management, and application enablement: T IoT Hub can bridge a wide range of IoT connectivity, device management, and application enablement platforms, suitable for both cellular and non-cellular devices, so you can be confident that it will work with the devices you are using.
User-friendly interface: The T IoT Hub interface makes it easy to manage your IoT devices and connectivity, even if you are new to IoT or connectivity management.
Unified APIs for integration with other systems: T IoT Hub provides APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that allow you to easily integrate the platform with other systems or applications, such as your existing device management or data analytics systems.
Security: T IoT Hub includes robust security features to protect against unauthorized access or attacks, including encryption, authentication, and access controls.
Telekom Business Login Migration
We are migrating the T IoT Hub login process to Telekom Business Login.
In the future, you will only need one central login to access Telekom Business applications for which you have been granted access. This means you will no longer need different credentials for different applications.
The migration affects only the login process. Application features, data, and permissions remain unchanged.
Telekom Business Login provides a secure and centralized access solution for Telekom Business applications.
Benefits include:
- One login for multiple applications
- Improved security
- Easier sign-in
- Better user experience
The migration is planned for July 31.
Any maintenance windows or service interruptions will be communicated separately.
With Telekom Business Login, you only need a single set of credentials.
Once access has been granted to a Telekom Business application, you can use the same login credentials to access it.
Yes.
Telekom Business Login serves as a centralized access solution for multiple Telekom Business applications.
If you have been granted access to another Telekom Business application, you can use the same login credentials without maintaining separate accounts for each application.
No.
Your existing permissions and access rights remain unchanged. Only the authentication method is changing.
Application administrators will continue to control which users have access to which applications and features.
No.
Your existing account will be migrated automatically.
No.
You can continue using your current username.
If you already use Telekom Business Login, your password will remain unchanged.
If you are being migrated to Telekom Business Login for the first time, you will be asked to create a new password during account activation.
No.
You will continue to access the T IoT Hub through the existing login page. Telekom Business Login will handle authentication in the background.
No.
You can continue using the existing T IoT Hub URL.
Please check the following:
- Your username
- Your password
- Your browser cache and cookies
If the issue persists, please contact support.
You may request the activation email two additional times.
If you miss those opportunities as well, please contact support.
We recommend using Google Chrome.
No.
Your data, settings, and permissions remain unchanged. Only the login process is being migrated.
We recommend having at least two administrators for your organization.
This helps ensure that user administration remains available if one administrator becomes unavailable or leaves the company.
