Bootstrap Service Getting Started

Many devices are manufactured without predefined endpoint configurations, leaving them unsure where to connect or how to authenticate. This web application empowers you to easily configure the LwM2M bootstrapping process for your devices, enabling true zero-touch device provisioning.

To begin bootstrapping a device, start by creating a device bootstrap profile, which includes all the necessary endpoint details, such as the target server URL and the APN required for connection. After setting up this profile, you can configure the device within the management system and assign the bootstrap profile to it.

Make sure to consult our firmware development guide to ensure your device communicates effectively with our service. For every update or configuration, it’s advisable to run verification tests.
